Special Meeting of the Recreation and Parks Commission
Elizabeth Davis Park Renovation
The City of Colton Recreation and Parks Commission will hold a Special Meeting to review the renovation plans for Elizabeth Davis Park. This meeting gives residents an opportunity to see the latest concepts, understand the project timeline, and share feedback on major features, including the new playground features

Location: Council Chambers, 650 N. La Cadena Drive
What will be presented
Staff and the project team will walk through the full renovation plan, which includes improvements funded through the County’s ARPA allocation and the City’s Park Development Fund.
The presentation will include an overview of the full renovation planned for Elizabeth Davis Park, a neighborhood park undergoing an upgrade to replace worn facilities and improve access to safe outdoor recreation. Staff will walk through the project timeline, starting with early design and approvals, the release of the Request for Proposals, and the review process involving City staff, the Recreation and Parks Commission, and the City Council. The work will occur in two phases, expected to begin in February 2026, with project completion anticipated by September 2026.
